During thist time, face mask and tempature checks are required for entry to WHFRTC.


The WHFRTC front entrance and exit, Main Gate (gate 1) will be closed starting Monday April 26 2021 till May 15  2021.

 The entrance and exit point will be at Gate 2, (AKA: River Queen Rd. / Entrance across HWY 181 /Convoy entrance gate).  

A temporary security building and guard will be in place as well as signage along HWY 181.  There will be orange jersey barriers placed along HWY 181 and at the traffic circle leading up to security.  You will still be able to perform a loop around the traffic circle in case you forget about gate 1 being closed.   

Please use the new bridge for cantonment traffic. 

Pay attention to all road signage such as stop and yield signs. 

If you are expecting outside vendors please be available to escort them.

​​Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center (WHFRTC) is located in the heart of Western Kentucky, just outside of Greenville, KY ​off the Western Kentucky Parkway. Constructed on 11,241 acres of reclaimed strip-mine land, the training center has complete year-round accommodations, to include barracks and quarters for nearly 500 troops, a 400-seat dining hall, a drill hall, and modern learning center for computer simulator training. The site also features live-fire ranges, hardened bivouac sites, a controlled humidity storage complex, complete maintenance facilities for military equipment, engagement skills training center, obstacle course and a 4,200 ft. grass runway.
