WHFRTC Mascot

Wendell

In Wendell's short life he was abandoned when he was a puppy and left on the side of the road. He was found by the Humane Society and taken to the shelter and put up for adoption. In June, 2008, Wendell was adopted by the WHFRTC staff to have as a pet and mascot for everyone that visits the training site.

If you would like to make a contribution to help pay for Wendell's expenses (yearly check-ups, medicine-heart guard and frontline, and food and treats), you may leave your donation at the main office, dining facility or the canteen.

If you have pictures of Wendell with your unit and you would like to share them on this website, please email pictures to joshua.layson@us.army.mil
