Trains un-stabilized gunnery IAW doctrinal tasks and RPMs in TC 3-20.31 and TC 4-11.46.
Trains individual, Crew, Section, and Platoons. Combat Patrol and Convoy Live Fire execution of battle drills IAW TC 4-11.46 and TC 63.1. Includes .50 Cal. Basic Training Matrix.
Capabilities:
The VCOT is a virtual training system providing unrestricted movement throughout the virtual battlefield training soldiers in basic and advanced convoy skills. Weapon selection for each vehicle varies upon mission requirement and can be M2 .50 Cal, MK-19, M240 MG or M249 Saw. Trains un-stabilized gunnery IAW doctrinal tasks and RPMs in TC 3-20.31 and TC 4-11.46. Trains individual, Crew, Section, and Platoons. Combat Patrol and Convoy Live Fire execution of battle drills IAW TC 4-11.46 and TC 63.1. Includes .50 Cal. Basic Training Matrix.
WHFRTC Recommendations:
Units will need to do preliminary training and planning before stepping into the VCOT if you want to maximize training benefit for your Soldiers.
